PlotClip · AI space facts video generator
AI space facts video generator
Type a topic — "why Venus spins backwards" — and get back a narrated vertical space explainer: a researched script, an AI voiceover, illustrated frames with motion, word-level captions and sound. The sources are listed with the video. Your first short is free, no card required.
From one topic to a finished short
One line is enough — or leave it empty and let PlotClip suggest one. You pick a look and a length; the engine does the research.
PlotClip searches real sources before a word of script exists, separates settled science from open questions, and writes a scene-by-scene explainer with narration, illustrated frames and word-level captions.
Nothing goes live until you approve it. Download the MP4 and post it yourself, or connect an account and schedule it.
Four ways to shoot space
Space is not one look. A nebula, a planetary surface, an orbital view and a clean schematic each carry a different kind of fact, so a scale story and a mission story do not come out looking like the same video.

Space content has a specific failure mode: a number that sounds right and is not. PlotClip researches agency and observatory sources first — NASA, ESA, JAXA, ESO — and the script can only use figures the research actually found. When a drawn graphic puts a number on screen, that value is checked against the research brief before it is allowed to render; if it is not there, the scene falls back to a normal illustrated frame. Settled science and open questions are labelled separately, so "no one knows yet" stays an honest ending instead of a manufactured mystery.
Topics that work as a short
The format rewards facts you can picture. These are the shapes that land in under a minute:
- A fact that sounds impossible and is true — a Venus day outlasting a Venus year
- Scale you can feel — neutron star density next to something you have held
- An extreme environment described as an observer would see it
- A mission that is still running, and what it is doing right now
- A common misconception, corrected — where the correction is the story

One short is a video. A rhythm is a channel.
Facts channels live on cadence: the audience follows because the next one arrives. Set a posting rhythm and the next shorts queue up for your review, so you are not starting from a blank page every week. That is the part a one-off generator cannot do for you.

Questions people ask
Are the facts checked?
The script is written from researched sources, and every video lists them. Numbers drawn on screen are verified against that research before they render. It is not a substitute for your own judgement — you approve every video before it goes anywhere — but it is a long way from a model writing from memory.
Can I make fictional space stories?
No, and deliberately. A space claim reads as a truth claim whichever mode the creator picked, so this genre only writes researched explainers. If you want fiction, horror is built for it.
Is it free?
To start, yes. Sign in with Google, no card, first short on us. Free shorts carry a PlotClip watermark. Paid plans render clean videos and open soon — see the plans.
Can I post them to YouTube Shorts and TikTok?
Yes. You get the MP4 and can post it anywhere yourself. Scheduling straight to your own connected accounts is in beta — see how publishing works.
How long does one short take?
A few minutes from topic to finished video, research included.
